Our house is under contract. The option period has been extended. We don’t know if our sale is going to proceed or not…so, we are on hold.
Yesterday we raked and bagged leaves most of the afternoon – our “fall” happens in the spring here in Austin. Little brown oak leaves were everywhere! We also organized and cleaned the garage.
I’ve been writing for a few hours this morning. Now, tired of sitting, I think I will go upstairs to clean closets. Again.
When it all comes together, we will be ready.
It’s hard to believe that our house has been on the market for more than 4 months…and still isn’t sold. We do realize that we listed it right before Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and the New Year. Who, besides us, wants to move then?
Point is: we thought that we would have down-sized, found the perfect RV, and been planning trips down that long and winding road by now.
from the blog: Hello Tiny Home
No matter that most of the roads in the country are covered in snow and ice, gripped by freezing cold, and we probably wouldn’t have gotten far.
It’s another grey, drizzly, and foggy day here in Austin. I trust that the sun will come out soon, and things will warm up. People will rush to move down here after what they’ve endured up north. Our house will sell and the adventure will begin.
In the meantime, stay tuned.
